Bilal Patel, Managing Partner

After completing his BA (Hons) Economics degree at the University of Manchester, Bilal started his career in finance 18 years ago working for Santander Asset Management giving holistic financial advice to retail and corporate clients. After a successful career gaining vast experience - he established Think Wealth Management in 2010 with the clear vision to become the most trusted source for clients in the Creation, Management and Protection of their wealth. He prides himself on always putting his clients first, delivering exceptional service backed up by his strong technical knowledge.

Bilal is a Chartered Associate, holding the highest level of qualifications in the industry which demonstrates sophisticated financial planning skills to support the provision of high quality advice.

In his spare time he enjoys spending quality time with his family, cooking new dishes (as a recently converted Pescatarian) and is a keen follower of the England Cricket Team.

Lindsay Bradley, Operations Manager

Lindsay joined the Practice in 2013 and has been working within financial services for 15 years, providing both administrative and paraplanning support.

She is responsible for overseeing the operational function of the office to ensure an efficient and high level of service is provided to all of our clients. She is currently studying to complete her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

Lindsay enjoys travel, keeping fit and fashion.

David Groom, Technical Consultant

David joined the Practice in 2017, having previously worked for another
St. James's Place Partner for over 10 years.

David specialises in many areas including taxation, investments, pensions and trusts. In his non-advisory role he designs solutions to help meet complex investment and tax planning requirements. He also assists with training other team members. David is currently working towards Chartered Financial Planner status.

David enjoys family time, hiking, playing music, and aspires to be a part time Yoga teacher.

Howard Thompson , Business Development Consultant

After a successful career as a St. James’s Place Partner himself Howard now works alongside Bilal managing and developing client relationships.

Howard brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the team and has a proven track record in the financial services industry with over 30 years experience.

Howard now enjoys spending more time with his fiancée and young son Hugo. He is enthusiastic about all sports but mostly only as a spectator or coach now.

Howard Thompson, Business development Consultant

Glen Forrest, Business Development Consultant

Glen joined the Practice with over 25 years' experience in the financial services industry mainly running his own Partner Practice together with his business partner Trevor.

Having made the difficult decision to step away from giving regulated financial advice he now works in conjunction with Think Wealth to develop relationships with both private and corporate clients.

Glen enjoys spending time with his wife and best friend Jayne to whom he has been married for 31 years, he is also a passionate golfer.

Trevor Shaw, Business Development Consultant

Trevor has worked in financial services for over 33 years and joined
St. James’s Place in 2012. Having advised clients directly over this period he specialised in offering expert advice in a wide range of important areas working closely with Local Authorities, Medical Professionals, Teachers, University Lecturers, Police Officers and the Fire Service.

Now in a non advisory role Trevor continues to develop these relationships for Think Wealth.

Trevor enjoys spending time with his family and socialising with friends. He also enjoys a variety of sports.

Kathryn Cuff, Senior Administrator

Kathryn is our Senior Administrator and is responsible for providing our clients with a high level of personal service.

Kathryn has worked in financial services for over 25 years working in a variety of roles, which has provided her with significant experience to perform her current role with the utmost professionalism and attention.

Kathryn also enjoys attending the gym, walking, cycling and spending time with her family and friends.

Catherine Yarwood, Trainee Technical Assistant

Catherine provides compliance support to Bilal on a number of areas including technical report writing and administration tasks.

Catherine prides herself on delivering high quality reports for our clients through obtaining accurate and extensive information. She is currently working towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

Catherine enjoys watching sport, cooking and socialising with her friends and family.

Alice Given, Administrator

Alice has worked within financial services since 2006 and joined the Practice in May 2019.

Alice is responsible for ensuring an efficient and high level of service is provided to all of our clients. She is actively looking to increase her knowledge of the financial services industry and is currently working towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning.

Outside of work, Alice enjoys spending time with her young daughter, socialising with friends and family, and keeping fit.

Sofia Ulhaq, Administrator

After having obtained a degree in Architecture, Sofia joined the Financial Services Industry in 2018.

Having already gained an insight into the industry, Sofia knew that this is the field that she would like to build her career in and joined Think Wealth in 2020. She is currently working towards completing the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and has successfully completed 4 out of the 6 exams required.

Sofia has a strong work ethic, and strives to provide a high standard of service within the company to help maintain the strong relationships we have built with our clients.

Outside of work Sofia enjoys to bake, swim and socialise with family and friends.

Olivia Bromley, Junior Administrator

Olivia joined the Practice in September 2019 after embarking on a career in Financial Services at the start of 2019.

Olivia's role as Administrator is to support and work closely with our team to ensure everything is acted on promptly and to assist with the smooth running of the Practice. She is currently working towards completing the Certificate in Financial Services.

Olivia loves spending time with her horses, hiking, and socialising with family and friends.

Luqmaan Hussain, Junior Administrator

Luqmaan joined the Practice at the end of 2019 and completes his role concurrently with being an Undergraduate of Manchester University where he is studying business.

Luqmaan’s role as Junior Administrator is to support the rest of the administration team to assist with the smooth running of the Practice.

Luqmaan enjoys gastronomy, travelling and supporting his football team, Manchester United.
